The bowls of Olive -series are stylish and natural choice for serving food or storing many other things. We have three sizes available, and all of them function individually, but all together they form a graceful set for serving.
Natural changes in olive wood make each bowl individual what comes to shape, colour and pattern.
In case you wish for an especially dark/light/even-coloured/strong-patterned bowl, write a comment about that at the order phase. We try to find the item which is the closest of your wish.
You can oil-treat bowls with any oil suitable for nutritional use. Oil-treatment darkens the colour. And remember that wooden kitchen tools should not be washed in the machine but gently by hand.
At the end of its' life-cycle, you can dispose this item by burning it in a fire or letting it rotten in a pile of branches, it is pure wood. This item does not produce any waste (Zero Waste).
Product background
Handmade from wild olive trees in Kenya. The work center where all our wild olive tree products come from employs many Kamba tribe people based in Machakos and also in Kikomba slum in Nairobi. Kikoi is a brand of a Finnish company.
